  We have ordered pizza here (take out) twice, and both times it has been excellent!  Our first order was a veggie pizza with mushrooms and olives, and when I arrived to pick it up they told me they don't normally put mushrooms on their veggie pizza, because it tends to make the crust soggy, but as we were picking it up they did it and notified me me as an FYI.  The pie was superb - crust was just right for us, and the sauce and toppings were delicious!
  
  Our second order was for a margherita pizza with olives, and it too was excellent.  Taste was delicious, pie was ready when I arrived, and, as a long time fan of Metro Pizza (their hot wings and nuclear fries are to die for), we are now dedicated Joey's NY Pizza fans!  (It doesn't hurt that they are 5 minutes from our house, and Metro is not.)

  Best pizza by the slice I've had. Have yet to try a whole pie but I'm sure it will be just as excellent.
  
  The two guys who work the counter and oven during the lunch time hours are very friendly.

  I'm new to the area and honestly I have not had bad pizza  here yet and I'm from LA but lived on the east coast for a while so I know the difference between good pizza and imitation.So far the 3-4 places I've tired have not disappointed however this place is amazing. Customer service was nice and helpful with placing my order. The pizza tastes way too similar to smiley pizza in Brooklyn (yummm) The garlic nots were tasty and the chocolate cake was delicious. We will definitely be ordering from this place again.
  
  The pizza here is really good but it would be nice if they had consistent delivery as an option. I've called numerous times and more often than not they have no one available to deliver.

  I've ordered from Joey's before and I thought the pizza was great. When I went to pick it up they were a little behind so they gave me garlic knots while I waited. Great service but now anytime I call to make an order, which was on a Monday at 5pm this time, but I never get an answer. I tried on two different occasions which is unfortunate because I like the pizza. Hopefully this gets worked out.

  Joey's NY Pizza is an experience in happiness.  There is a ton of NY memorabilia, cute chef decor, an assortment of gelato and the best pizza I've had in a while.  You can sit down and have two already made slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza and get a soda of your choice for $5.  They have a wide assortment of appetizers and desserts.  And the menu has a bunch of great things you'd want from a pizza parlor including calzones.  I've been going here for a couple of years now and I just want to say that I'd recommend this pizza place to absolutely anyone.  The staff is always helpful and courteous and the short wait is worth the delight!
